About the Photographer
Kazuhiro Sugiyama
Born in Shizuoka, Japan in 1959. After studying photography at Chiba University, he began his career at Konica Minolta. Since 1988, he has pursued mountain photography, capturing landscapes throughout Japan as well as mountainous regions overseas. His work explores the fleeting beauty created by nature and light.
